A wooden cube.
6 photos cut to 2mm smaller than the cube faces.
Mod Podge, or photo glue and varnish/sealant.
Paint, for the cube.
Brush.
It's easy to make a photo cube using Mod Podge or another glue/sealant combination, and it makes a great gift.

Apply 2 coats of paint to your cube, leaving each to dry completely. I used an old interior wall paint match pot. Measure the faces of the cube and cut your photographs to 2mm smaller than the face size.

Apply a layer of Mod Podge or photo glue to the cube and carefully place the first photo. If you haven't already, read our (short) How To Mod Podge Photos tutorial for advice on how to avoid bubbles and wrinkles. Firmly press down the photo, right to the edges, wipe any excess glue, then leave it to dry for at least 30 minutes.
Seal the photo by applying a thin layer of Mod Podge, varnish or other sealant, keeping brush strokes in the same direction. Leave to dry for 30 mins then repeat.
Stick and seal the remaining photos in the same way, then leave to dry fully somewhere with low humidity for at least 24 hours (to avoid a sticky finish).
