Print passport size photos

Difficulty:

Easy.

How often are you asked for '2 passport size photos' to go with an application or membership form, and then put off filling in the form because you don't have the photos?  Here is a very quick tutorial showing you how to resize your photos for printing using just your printer software - no Photoshop, Picasa or other editing software is needed.

First up, Mac users:

1. Open your photo and choose 'File > Print'

2. In the dialogue box, change the 'Scale' percentage.

This can involve a bit of trial and error.  Select your paper size and quality, and then judge what looks right in the preview.  You might need to do a draft print to check the size is OK.  You can print more than one image on the page by changing the 'Images per page' on the drop down menu.

And for Windows users...

1.  Open your file and select 'Print...'

2.  Select your paper size and paper type with the drop down menus.

3.  Select 'Wallet' style on the right hand menu

Change the number of photos to print using the 'Copies of each picture' box.
