Vintage effect

Vintage effect

Difficulty:

Intermediate. Uses adjustment layers and masks.

Vintage colours are popular at the moment so I thought I'd share one way of giving your photo a bit of a pop in Photoshop.

1. Curves adjustment layer, separate colour channels

2. Color balance adjustment layer, separate tones

3. Hue/Saturation adjustment layer + centre gradient mask

4. Hue/Saturation 'Red Boost' preset + homemade yellow filter layer ('darken' blend, 39% opacity)
